Ada Friedman (b. Washington D.C. 1984) has had recent solo and two-person exhibitions at Kendra Jayne Patrick, Bern, Switzerland (2025, 2022); David Peter Francis, New York (2024); and The University of Tennessee Downtown Gallery, Knoxville (2022). Her plays have been staged in New York at Essex Flowers, All Saints Church, and Safe Gallery. She holds an MFA in Painting from Bard College and has participated in residencies including Shandaken Projects, NY, and Clay Break at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. Friedman is the 2025-2026 Grant Wood Fellow in Painting & Drawing at the University of Iowa, Iowa City. She lives in NYC and the Texas Hill Country.
